Return to the mid-1800s as Syracuse abolitionist and women’s rights advocate, Samuel May, hosts three women– an Onondaga Native American, a suffragette and a professional—for a lively interactive “feminist” discussion. Hear about their lives, responsibilities, struggles and hope. The characters presented are based upon the writing of NYS author, Miriam Grace Monfredo, as dramatized by the OHA History Upstagers, a volunteer group of seasoned dramatists. Suitable for small school assemblies, the boardroom or the community room, this program celebrates Women’s History Month and is available by appointment either at the museum or in the community. The presentation lasts 45-60 minutes and costs $250. For more information or to place a reservation, call Scott Peal at 428-1864 x317.
